You mean this IRS is not compulsory for all kids? If don't choose this one, then what else can choose?

You can choose IRS, IVP or FPS (future problem solving). I think you can find more info in the MOE website. The school will brief them at the start of Term1. So perhaps can wait for more info from the school next year.

Thanks for the useful information 😄

I think some schools will provide transport but you can check with your ds's form teacher. Last year, I fetched my kid there. If your ds is not going to choose that, then it is not necessary for you to go. To be frank, going there just give me an idea what is it about but didn't help much. My dd just did it all on her own. LOL! So don't worry, you won't miss much about it.

Thank you so much, at least I can rest my mind now. 😉

Just check with ds when term1 2013 start and remind him to keep you inform and I think that will do. You can also ask your ds to take pictures of some of the displays at the exhibtion and collect brochure from the teacher at the counter.[/quote]Thanks a lot for your advice ! 😉

Actually, the IRS talk is nothing. Just presentation by kids with projects tat have been selected for medal awards. Attended one last year, some kids’ presentation were quite technical, aka dry. After the presentation, children n parents are shown to another room to view at other projects submitted by the other kids.

                        Hi

Does anyone have any link to a site that would look at semantic classification type verbal logic questions.

For example, what word links: obese grease. The answer is fat, as obese means fat, and grease also means fat.

This is really a general intelligence question about parts of speech and homonyms. Any help is appreciated.
