      IJJ:
This afternoon we went to buy books and it was such a breeze, noone in the q. We were the only one. 2 books not available yet for P3, the Listening compre and the art text, plus those subject files. May hv to drop by one more time or just grab the first 2 @ popular.

We bou some of the subject files before sch closes. Would be reusing some of this year's files too.

I don't think Popular has Listening Compreh. This one is not a critical \"must have\" item when sch just re-opens. I usu. let my boy buy it on his own. Sama sama for the Art textbook.

Will reuse the sub files too. They are pretty new since she only used them for half a year.

We also bgt pe attire. They changed the pants materiak, I still prefer those cotton ones, more comfy. The new/current ones quite 'plastic'.

          Mummies,

The booklist came back late this year. Knowing how lousy the bookshop service is, I quickly ticked the books I want, then fax the booklist back and call to make sure they received it.
As usual, subject files no stock 😢 Will get my son to buy the files when school reopens. I really can't stand going to the bookshop.

As for the uniforms, I was boiling mad :x because I didn't know there is another classroom allocated for the sale. We waited and waited for the lady to return so that we can tell her the sizes. Didn't know that she was in another place.

            Hi everybody,

I just found out about this link.
My son will be in P4 (Kindness) next year. Will also register my daughter for P1 next year in the same school. 😄

Oh dear! The service really bad arh. Subject files are generic items used by all levels. They should have planned ample stock. The one and only uniform seller was at the classroom nearer to the book shop when we were there. Maybe at the time you were there, she was attending to other customers in another room?

Hi all, I’m new here. My older son is going P2 next year while my younger son although due to enter P1 next year, I’ve to defer him for a year due to many learning disabilities.

I didn’t want to give him unnecessary stress as I feel this school’s standard to be really high! Still unsure if I want him to join his bro as this school doesn’t have the support that he needs.

I just realised that many exercise books that we purchased in P1 didn’t get used and in P2, we’re asked to buy them which i stupidly did so again. Guess, in P3, I’ll make sure i count my 'stock"!

Do we need to label the books again in P2 like we did in P1?

Oh, also, I was wondering if anyone has heard of Horrible Science books? I bought some during the book fair in school and my son loves it! It’s suitable for 7-12yos. It’s an excellent way for kids to learn through humor and wacky ideas. Read that the horrible books are award winning and great for gifted children. Humor at it’s best while kids unknowingly learn a great deal.

However, the books don’t come cheap at $16/book or $12.80 after 20% discount.

I’ll like to place an order from USA at US$60 for a set of 20, after freight and all, prob it’ll come up to S$135 for it or S$6.75 a book. Anyone interested? Maybe the more we order, the price may go even lower to $125 because of the combined freight.

Let me know soon as the price given is promotional and prob will end before x’mas or whilst stock last.
