I personally think it is good that the child learns about \"failure\" or underperformance early so that he or she builds resilience and ability to take stock and move forward. And agree that we should love and accept them no less. This will give them the confidence to try again.oo
Provided we parents give them our full support during their time of need.

can brief me again the formula and an example of how to calculate Tscore?
also, if a child’s marks is average 79, ie 3As and 1B, or all band 2, is it reasonable to estimate the tscore will b ard 230?
if all get below 75, means less than 230? -
hi parents… say if my child gets
English - 55
maths - 55
mother tongue - 55
science - 55
(based on P5 results )
what T score will it be?

TIA!! -

P1 to P3 maths is not that difficult to score. The killer is at P5 and onwards. So dont compare to lower primary results. You shld take position from there and re strategies of how you are gg to improve from there. -

at upper primary, it is a totally different ball game...what has been taught from p1-4 is hardly applied. if your gal is going to p5 next year, start teaching her this holiday. in any case, be prepared to see maths results plummet in the first ca1.
