oh, mine will not go to school with incomplete homework. He doesnt like teachers scolding him and he is afriad of \"losing face\".Hi Dino Mummy
Talked about yesterday nite.....sigh....
Mine do homework until cried, still cannot complete. Seem like they have a pile of homework to do, yesterday seem like 1st time. My kid started Maths at around 8pm+, still not complete when at 10pm. Then start to get panic already cos already over bedtime and still have alot of homework not done. Till 11pm+, still have a few sums to do. At then already cannot think liow, been calling daddy to help.
Same here...had been reminding to quickly finish up the work and don't take own sweet time. Just won't listen.
And today went school without completing all the homework.
He has experience doing his homework at 6am when he suddenly remb he din do a piece of correction or work when he wakes up. OR just when we all go to bed, he will say he has forgotten certain homework.
I am tinking how he cope from next year onwards...or how I cope next year :nailbite: -
Dino mummy:
Seems like this is an issue created by RMPS - too much homework. But then is this specific to certain classes or affects the whole cohort? Either way, this needs to be communicated to the Principal/teachers so that they are aware.

Perhaps communicate with other mummies/daddies who are in the same level and petition /raise it to them. Strength in numbers should help. -
Dino mummy:

Heard there were about 30 students from Radin Mas going for the 2nd round of GEP Selection. :boogie: -

They are doing more practice papers now plus pushing them to do compos. There are not many compo practices thru'out the year.
But I am not sure if compare to other P4 clasess, is there any difference in the amt of homework. -

Assuming there are 240 pupils ( 30 x 8 class) , that would mean 12.5%. :rahrah: :rahrah:Dino mummy:

Ya, scolded by the teachers yesterday. On the nite she said cannot finish work, told her still must go bed. I dun care if get scolding cos she deserves it for taking own sweet time to complete the work.

Actually there isn't much increase in homework for the class. They are doing more practices papers these few days is likely due to SA2 is near. There are some other days, they are not given any homework at all.
