isetan i'm not sure... but ntuc and giant both sells the pans at $20++ only... it shouldnt be real happycall right?? i saw at nex ntuc and tampines giant..

$20++ cannot be happy call. Should be pirate call pan!

pirated call pan is the same as imitation right??

i think best is to get from korea... sure authentic..
Is it fire too strong? I find happy call pan very \"petty\", only small flame need apply. A little bigger then i can sing \"smoke gets in my eyes\" already...

The \"smoke\" shd be steam from the food right..?

If it is emission from the pan.. you got serious problem liao..

No, its from the pan/food and no, I was not steaming food. I was actually pan frying ham…

So, what serious problem ar? As in emitting toxic?
Aiya.. ANY food when heated will emit steam lah.. And oil if heated beyond the smoke point will breakup/decompose and produce smoke.

but how to estimate? surely must open to check right?
the size of fish or type of meat we cook is different each time ...
or should I switch off the gas , then open and check? but the food in pan still
sizzles right after switching off leh...
By experience and agar-ration lor..

Last time 5mins.. a bit over cook.. this time reduce a bit.. something like that.. After a while.. you should be able to get a feel already..

Until now.. I still estimate estimate.. and usually just \"make do\" with the results..

I guess a little over or under shouldn't cause too much harm lah..... as long as the food can be eaten..

so must turn to smallest flame??
It's not a must.. you can use big flame if you want. just that usually, small flame is sufficient.

I always use small flame (except at the beginning to heat up the pan and make it hot).. As the design of the pan covering the food means heat is re-circulated inside the pan and less heat lost.. so no need to use big fire.

Hi

Does anyone know Happycall Deeper Red Pan HC08-014 (27.5x24.5x7.5cm) is it authentic. It can be redeem from OCBC$ credit card reward.
I will also be collecting the OCBC redeemed happycall pan from audio house, has it be useful and does the oil leak out?

Tried to do a medium steak but ended up with well done. Was on low heat for 10 mins n then open to flip the steak and then another 10 mins. Will probably need to reduce to 5-6 mins each instead...

i usually use only about 7mins in total for both sides using normal pan.. i think using happycall will be much lesser...
