DSA is 50% according to MOE guideline, except for NUSH. -
Competition for places, not necessarily IP places:
1. mixed school -> 100% more because it is for both gender, not for boys or girls only
2. SAP school -> 25% less because it is mainly for the Chinese students
3. IP school -> 50% of places taken up via DSA
4. school with affiliated primary school -> places alloted to affiliated primary school students with a lower cut off point -

If I remember correctly, the total IP places should be 4000 as per what was published in the Straits Times recently. -
