      Hi,

Anyone get the free gifts from Taiwan association Singapore for this month or next month? What are the goodies? What do we need to bring to claim the goodies?

      Thanks.
I got the free tickets to any of the theme park in Taiwan, just opt for 1 theme park. Bring along yr air tickets & hotel confirmation will do.

              hello jessielu,

I m going to use public transport. It will be just 3 of us so I think should be manageable and more economical to go by train. Taxi sound very expensive.

To cingjing is 4hours… this is the part i m worried about. How to get there and back to airport.

                Hi,

If you read chinese, this is a good site to book local tours. My TW colleagues recommended one. They say this is the site the local will go. Pricing is very reasonable.

Cinjing is indeed far away from airport, we are exhausted by sitting the van. Fyi, travelling up the mountain need 1 hr & if got car sick, feel even worse! The rd are really steep and winding, don't think would want to go up again.

                        Hi,

I just went to Taiwan in Aug 2012 in group of six and we booked a guide/driver who was safe in driving and took care of old folks/kids. He has a new Volkswagon 9-seater.

You can tell him the states you want to go to in Taiwan, the hotel budget per night you want, and he can plan the places of interests for you to review. More flexible and convenient for families. We thought the rates were reasonable.
