Such kids will probably still do well in GEP, with good attitude, extra enrichments and parental help. It's a fallacy to assume all will do badly. Attitude plays an important part as well.
In this case, won't know the boy is really Gifted by Nature or get in after Drill....drill.....drill...
At risk, wheather the boy can cope once in P4?? Parents got to think twice.
But those who get in without Prep, think more likely will do well and enjoy the programme. -

Anyway, I am already happy that he made it to Round 2. Anything else will be a bonus!monmon31:

My SIL two sons also did not finish the paper but managed to get into GEP. Whether DS gets in or not, it's God's Will. Anyway, I am already happy that he made it to Round 2. Anything else will be a bonus! -
Ya mine too! Found all papers difficult.
