      Dear all,

Due to my work commitment, I always can only travel with dh n ds during non peak period. There are pros n cons to it. We had went to Seoul f&e during march. That was our first trip. Abit blur blur even till nw. When we were there end march, there were still snow in the mountain, according to the local dmz tour guide. Pple were still able to ski. So this time ,dh n I planning to go next yr end march again, but target to snow mountain. But I need advices please. Which is the good one with resort that can accommodate to my 5 yr old boy needs? Easy access from airport? To seoul again after? Itinery recommend pls?He specific said he wan to go back Korea to make snow man. In another one n half yr he will go P1, so with my wk schedule, I shall beta do this next yr. Thanks in advance.
my 7 yr old also wants to go korea n play with snow. i going in dec but wil nt be going skiiing.. instead will go snow sledding at seoulland sledding hills, supia park ttukseom resort n everland. my boy says the ski equipment r heavy n skiing looks scary so he prefers to go sledding instead. if not going skiing, u can try that out..

the KAL limo bus dont go to Sutton hotel. U have to take the normal limo bus #6002 which stops at Jongno 3, its abt 5mins walk to Sutton. I would suggest u take the KAL limo to your hotel to leave your luggage, then either take a cab or take a train down which is only 3 stations away. Rather than dragging your luggage around. If your dh can go alone, it would be even better, then u & your dd can shop in Lotte dept store while waiting for him :boogie: Just my 2 cents worth opinion.
thks mummychia, i will take note to take bus #6002.

my dh has to see this client before anything else... and cos its my first time in seoul, i dun want to go on separate ways the moment we reach there... luggage will be taken care of as we can deposit them in sutton hotel under the client's room no... i will just need to look for nearby programs before my dh ends in 2.5hrs time...

for what i know, my dh says we are not going straight to lotte hotel upon arrival... need to go dunno what hotel sutton or something like that, to meet up with his business clients... so i got to chk which bus goes to this hotel sutton from the counter instead?

Sutton Hotel is at 117 Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul 110-420, South Korea. I would suggest you off load your bags in the hotel first then go to Sutton Hotel. Then take a walk down Cheonggyecheon stream in the evening which is a beautiful sight provided the water are not iced. That way, you covered one tourist spot already. 一箭双雕。That area got shopping too.

dasalo, u seem to be so familiar with seoul... so good...

but i hv to stay with dh just in case anything la... my first time there, not very adventurous to try out or go on separate ways with him...

Cheonggyecheon stream is 1 of the places we will cover... my dh is doing the itinerary..

The Seoul lantern festival will be held at Cheongyecheon stream till 18 Nov, lights will be up from 5pm-11pm.

Taxi is cheap in Korea but from airport to town will be quite ex. Cheapest is still the limo bus. U can refer the website for the approx. cab fare & toll fee.

do u mean from sutton hotel to your lotte hotel? u cant take #6002 coz it doesnt stop at your hotel. But if u meant from Lotte hotel to airport, yes u can take the KAL limo bus. U can refer to their timing from the website i posted earlier

infact its highly recommended to take the limo bus if u hv more luggage as there's storage compartment compare to taking the train.

for snow sledding, its available in most amusement parks like Everland, Seoul Land, Children grand park etc. u may like to check their website when is the opening dates though.
