After last SA2 in P5, play 1 week and it’s back to REAL work, to prepare for the marathon ahead. The earlier, the better…build up momentum slowly.

There are many sub-topics under Energy & Interactions…can also start preparing Chinese & English. Same goes for Math.

preparing for psle is the ultimate goal...no more holding back...by preparing earlier, child gets an idea what to expect because when school reopens for p6, teachers charge...some schools are nice, they charge only after CNY.

To the school, 'charge' means getting kids ready. But CNY is in Feb next year, so I don't think many schools will charge only after that...next year's PSLE is early too. So, CHARGE may not be a bad thing after all.

Perhaps kids will also gear up...but my son was still very laid-back until Aug 😓 really worried...furthermore cannot scream for fear of him melting down. Math tutor scolded him every week...i asked her if he was stressed after every lesson, she assured me he wasn't...still in a world of his own, unaware of urgency.

most boys are like this... just like men... my dh is one who doesnt hv any sense of urgency too... same for ds1... unique characteristic of men...
