As a parent, I hope my children will exceed what I achieve in life. Don't you?

So don't build a ceiling for what you think your boy can achieve. Who knows he may surprise you. If he's selected to go to GEP school, pls reject the offer & stay on in PH, Ok? heehee. PH need a PSLE top 10 scorer 🙂
Who doesn't want their kids to \"green emerge from blue?\" But we must also be aware of the stress we maybe inadvertently causing. One of my friends' dd attempted suicide last yr during SA2. It was in the papers. I personally know this gal bcos she visited me before.

Luckily in the end she didn't jump. Once you see something like this, your perspective will change.

How can I find out the cost of the school bus service? Is it made known on orientation day?

School bus fee: 2012 - $95 per month. (June and Dec holiday, you still need to pay $95 ) My son takes school bus currently. My husband complains why they charge for June and Dec. But it is so and can not be changed. Alas, just comfort myself that the driver needs to eat in June and Dec too.

You can call the bus driver to find out. The sch gives out a list of drivers' contact numbers in the orientation pack, together with book list etc etc.
Btw I pay <$95. Maybe the charges go by distance, no. of kids on the bus etc..

Not that extreme la. you know best when to give him a gentle push & to pull back when he is near the edge... like flying kite.. sometimes let go, sometimes pull, but hands always on the string 🙂

Btw how old is this girl? Hope she's coping well now. Always sad to hear about such cases.

Sec 3 this yr; her mum said she's the perfectionist since young.
