Is there a screening test? Never see results revealed by the school. I don’t think there are any best classes per se

I’ve heard that the textbooks for pri 1 & pri 2 next year will be changed. Guess will have to wait and see the textbook list.

My girls just got SOM for overdue library books… according to the teacher, there’s no avenue to redress or appeal the decision.
Anyone has similar encounters? -

hi Snggysnggy:
Swimming lessons organised by Chongfu School is not complusory. They are offered at attractive highly subsided rates. If you are keen, the kids can learn swimming by signing up the program. If you prefer to learn outside, also ok. There is no need to pass the test at the end of swimming lessons. Hence, there is no huge stress on the kids. If they are still keen, they can continue swimming by taking private classes.
Otherwise, you do not need to sign up for swimming (irregardless whether ur child can swim or cannot swim). It is a optional program.
Hope this information helps you. :imcool:
Can you elaborate more on the Swimsafe prgm? Does the school provide transport to/fro swimming pool (which pool) and how long is the prgm? Are the kids nuch according to their abilities (ie non-swimmers vs advanced swimmers)? Teacher/child ratio thanks -
Is there also a list of CCAs somewhere that parents could refer to when considering CCA for the P3 children in CF? Notwithstanding that CCA is not compulsory in P3, its good to start looking around.
BTW, the latest school newsletter does not state when and how to purchase next year’s school books. I really cant recall how we did it last year. Any information on that as well?
TIA.
