Any good student care centres in Punggol?

Any good student care centres in Punggol to recommend that is not school-based?

I am also looking for student care service. Understand Sunshine Kids is providing student care service, but not quite like the centre.

I am looking for one too for my pr 2 girl in Meetoh. Have only consider the following… hope these can be help to you. I too stay in Punggol.

I want the best for my girl as placing them in student care is easy but getting a suitable school to cultivate certain good habits are not easy.
this are my view… i hope others can contribute so it can assist us to look for suitable school.

1) River of life
Love the place - big area for kids and they are there for a period.
disadvantage : distance to my location as I have to take bus and after…
Have to pay extra for school bus for my girl
Unsure: their teaching and kids behaviour.

2) Little professor (opp hougang mall)
Love the place - big enou area for kids and they are there for a period, unfortunately they are underground.

I have place my girl there during last dec and current march. So quite happy with their teaching… most they push her chinese standard up:)

3) Dexkids at the CC. Defintely must visit the site as they use the 2nd level for the class room. ( But this is not my preference)
Advantage they walk the kids to school , save cost on school bus
disadvantage : security and cost.
They charge GST on top of the school fees.
Unsure of results of students and behaviour

4) I am checking on at down town east … oh this is far… may not consider

There are Pearl SC too… did not visit thou

There’s a new student care centre in Punggol Plaza. It’s run by Just Education Group. Do you have any feedback?

Thanks for the replies. But I have manage to get a school-based (Proteach) student care centre for my boy boy next year going to P1. :rahrah:

Hi, The child has to be a student of Horizon Pri first.

I had a frustrating experience with Pro-Tech After School Care in Horizon Primary School. From my last encounter with the centre principal, i figured that the demand for their centre is so good that they can make thoughtless decision. Take it or leave it. Inflexible, high-handed and lack of planning.


Since they decided to accept only one of out my TWO children studying in the school, i’ve decided to withdraw my application for the one accepted by the centre because it makes no sense for me.

For those parents who consider school based care centres, I noticed that Pro-Tech Centre closes when the school close (eg. PSLE marking day, special school events etc). I thought that’s when we need the centre for - to take care of our children when there’s no school during school term.

Furthermore, Students are to wait in school canteen after say 5pm and outside the school after 6.30pm. So for parents who knock off at 6pm and works in Shenton area, do take that into consideration.
