Which one is better in terms of teaching method? I am lookinf for chinese enrichment for my son for next year when he turns 4 and want to find a school that will aptly prepare him for P1 over the next few years. Any parents have experience in any of these school and care to share?
I don't believe in sending my kids to all these learning centres. I would rather do the observations myself. I used to send my daughter to Berries for a short while, but then I decided to withdraw as I don't think their teaching method is that useful. I can't say the same for the other learning centres. I have a personal Chinese tutor for my daughter. She's Ms Liu. She is very experienced in teaching pre-school, primary and sec level Chinese. I was lucky to have her as my son's tutor as he is now doing very well in P1 and even scored the highest marks in Chinese for his mid-year exam. You can contact Ms Liu at 97944428. Whatever it is, it's always better to do your research carefully before selecting your tutors. Hope I helped
Hi Rachel, is your son taking higher chinese? -

I believe all the centers offer more or less the same coverage. It's the teacher that's the most important consideration. Since you have 3, it is better to send them to one which has the same time slot. Look at logistics, ie cost, timing, distance and make up classes policy. Hope this helps. -

I will choose Xuelin! Go for the Katong, Bukit Timah is very full on weekend. They have teachers who are really good with children! My 3 kids really love them very much! But most important is that my P3 has no fear for compo writing & attained very good SA2results

Hi
My P5 ds has been with Wang since June this year. He has been taking the twice weekly Compo & Paper 2 class. There is still not much improvement made to his results and secondly the teachers there didn’t really feedback to me about my ds progress.
I am thinking of switching him to other centre.
Anyone has tried Xuelin (katong) P6 classes ? Any feedback ?
Or anyone has tried both at P5 / 6 level ? Pls share your experience.
Thanks ! -
