Wow, I'm impressed too! If I were to use this menu every week, my kids should be able to overcome their underweight problem (- while I the reverse! Haha!) What else do you prepare for them other than the soups, verykiasumummy? And how much time to you spend each day just on meals preparation?

verykiasumummy, your soup list seems like those of a restaurant menu or catering menu plan list! 😂 What a great mom you are and how blessed are your DH and DCs. I'm sure with all these 好汤 daily, your family members must be looking great especially the kids, having rosy complexions. I bet you are a Cantonese as they are very particular and meticulous about their preparation of their soups...must be minimum3-4hours.

I prepare soups for my family about 4-5 times a week and cook whatever fresh ingredients I have or see at the market or supermarket. For example if I see that today's winter melon looks great or I chance upon a big and nice chicken, I will buy them for cooking soup.

Think I will draw up a soup list like you. Thanks for sharing!

My girls looked like they would be taller than me as they grew, but the growth just suddenly 'turned off' one day around 13yo, much to their disappointment. One is 2 cm taller than me and the other 2 cm shorter. We are only 153, 155 and 157cm!

Girls stopped growing any taller one year after they start menstruating. So it's a good sign if they can grow as tall as possible before then.

How about boys? How can we tell when their height has reached the max?

rumour. To grow taller, sleep 10 hrs a day in a pitch dark room and drink lots of milk.

DD’s PD says generally girls stop growing taller within 3 yrs from the start of their menses. The most aggressive growth spurt will be within the year of their 1st menses, thereafter the growth will slow.

Verykiasumummy, I am super impressed!! Thanks for compiling and sharing. I will sticky note the list.

Can just imagine, if many follow your list, on certain days old cucumber sold out, on other days shark melon sold out. :rotflmao: Ntuc, SS, Cold Storage & wet market better take note of demand on those days.

And if you want to get the max growth, pump in nutrition once the menses starts. The body will adsorb/react most during those years.

Milk, eggs, meat, bird nest whatever.. eat well during those years does more towards growth than any other times..
