      Dear all,

Due to my work commitment, I always can only travel with dh n ds during non peak period. There are pros n cons to it. We had went to Seoul f&e during march. That was our first trip. Abit blur blur even till nw. When we were there end march, there were still snow in the mountain, according to the local dmz tour guide. Pple were still able to ski. So this time ,dh n I planning to go next yr end march again, but target to snow mountain. But I need advices please. Which is the good one with resort that can accommodate to my 5 yr old boy needs? Easy access from airport? To seoul again after? Itinery recommend pls?He specific said he wan to go back Korea to make snow man. In another one n half yr he will go P1, so with my wk schedule, I shall beta do this next yr. Thanks in advance.

my 7 yr old also wants to go korea n play with snow. i going in dec but wil nt be going skiiing.. instead will go snow sledding at seoulland sledding hills, supia park ttukseom resort n everland. my boy says the ski equipment r heavy n skiing looks scary so he prefers to go sledding instead. if not going skiing, u can try that out..

Thanks. That's is wat I m thinking as well. Jus that I ve no idea where to go. Pls update me abt the place when u r back. R u on f&e or package tour? If u r on f&e pls share ur itinery. Many thanks.

chinatown has these boots too... make sure u try and walk a distance before buying...

my advice is to bring 2 pairs cos wearing the same pair everyday will make ur feet ache esp during holiday cos u walk a lot...

I always buy Timberland for winter boots and they can last me at least 3 winter trips. They can be used for SG daily use too. Dr Martens is another brand that I'll buy. As long as the sole ain't slippery, it goes.

I'm not sure about DSLR, your manual should indicate the right temperature. My old compact Minolta takes up to 5 degrees the last time and I had to keep them in my pocket most times.

How much Won do we need to bring for 7D 5night in Korea .. For basic expenses like meals and Tpt ?

if u are joining tour, u should ask which meals are provided before u calculate on that..

                    my calculation is :

                    each day :
                    - breakfast SGD10
                    - lunch SGD20
                    - dinner SGD30
                    - snack SGD10
                    - transport SGD15
                    - admission fee to places of interest SGD25

                    total each day is SGD110
7 days SGD770 + SGD200 for buffer or extra expenses..

the balance will from the estimate will be used to buy goodies for my relatives and friends..

[/quote]i think 3k is still quite tight cuz there will be many things ur children wld wan to buy and many things we as women like to buy and if u r bringing children to theme parks, it will easily costs about SGD40 & above for admission to Seoulland, Everland and Lotteworld. Seoul is a shopping & skincare paradise..

i'm gng seoul again during xmas. if u really really really want to save, u might be able to spend only $1.5k - $2k. i'm projecting abt $4k since im doing xmas shopping there..
