      Upz.

      Lol.
I read back my posting in 2010 and see a double increase in expenditure in two years. :faint:
Estimated expenditure per kid likely to be $600 per month starting next year. :faint:
I think overspend for ds2 already, but he refused to drop math which really is optional, but did a great job in getting him interested.

      :faint:

There is a similar recent thread, can someone direct me? Thanks!

Same here, expenditure increased unexpectedly. I thought without preschool fees, my expenses will be lower. Boi, wrong calculation, tuition cost more than preschool fees!

          For 2 kids:
Music (cello + piano) + theory = $585 (excluding music books, graded exam fees)
          Tuition (3 subjects each) = $994

Going to add swimming for 1 kid $50

          Total $1629 per month :yikes:

And yet to include ad hoc school holiday programmes & workshops

Sleepy, the $994 tuition is individual tuition right?

Group tuition at tuition center. 3 subjects for each kid.

Can't afford individual tuition or branded center.

But even average tutition center also add up to a lot :faint:

                Vevey:
                Piano - $110

                Wushu - $40
Help me to fold laundry & vacuum floor - priceless! ๐Ÿ˜‰
This is such a nostalgic thread n helps us keep track of expenses. Must dig this out every 2 years hor.. Kekeke...

                Current:
                Swimming - $60

                Erm..that's all!
Ds1 has maths Olympiad in sch for 2 terms n we opted him out of the 2yrs English enrichmentw trinity exam bcos don't think it's nec.
Unless ds1 wanna continue grade 5 piano then add $140.

Hi all, I would like to estimate extra enrichments expenditure for my children. Currently my vote is (B) as DS has only mother tongue tuition. I am considering adding some physical enrichments like swimming or Robotics, things that he enjoys. From a laid-back school, DS joined a new school yesterday and to keep up with the rest, he might need some extra help along the way. As a sahm, I was his main tutor but as the syllabus gets trickier by the year, I don't wish to mislead him with outdated limited knowledge. DD has also been asking to join Ballet and to learn playing the piano after seeing her older cousins doing them. I am trying to add extras without going overboard and thus putting a big strain on the family's finances.

                    Please share! :boogie:

For me the only enrichment I have now is math tuition. Had piano lessons before in P1, absolutely hated it.
