I believe most of you have read in the letter informing us that all school bus will pick up the children 10 minutes later during the trial starting next week. Do check with the bus driver. When I asked him, he told me to come down at around the same time. He said at most 5 minutes. The 10 minutes given by the school is just a guide and it is not practical to pick every child 10 minutes later. He said that it might take longer to reach the school as the traffic outside the school builds up. He wants to reach the school at the usual time to avoid the traffic. So if that is the case, it doesn’t make much different to my DS then. He still has to wake up at the usual time.

Hi, parents of P2. At P3, are the kids grouped by results or just random mix? My ds tells me that his teacher said they will be grouped by results. However when I asked at PTM, treacher said its random for the boys to make more friends. Anyone can shed some light??

As a future Maris Stella parent I am curious about the trial. Are they looking to change the school hours?

Sorry for not being clear. The trial is for students to arrive at the school slightly later. Currently students arrive a around 7am for reading till morning assembly (which is around 7.25am, I think). The school is planning to remove this reading period wef next year.

Sorry I am not too sure about the details. I just scanned thru the letter quickly and thus, may have missed out some details. Only remember the bus timing.

The 2012 P4s will be allocated to different P5 classes.

Bigfoot, I encounter the same with my bus driver. He say just come down the same time cos he has other things to do after sending the kids to school!
