NAFA School of Young Talents - Discussion

Dunno. I just read recently that she was in US picking out a Steinway. Maybe it's her second :yikes: . I don't think a Steinway will fit in my lift. A Yamaha C3 might... I think I will only worry about the Steinway if DD ends up half as good as her.

any parents of nafa syt students can share the ways to prepare your kids for the internal exam aural test? what was tested and what is the standard? TIA!

Through years of teaching piano to children, I noticed children find scales practicing monotonous and it has been a challenge to have them practice the scales. Through test run with my own students, and constantly adjusting to their needs and feedback, I found a way to help children play their scales effectively, and my students are loving it now!

Hi, does NAFA require students to take all the theory exam grades? If not, how often, and what are the compulsory exams to take?
-
In fact , songs r more challenging than scales

Any one knows what are the minimum qualifications of teachers in NAFA? Do they assign the better teachers to the higher grades students, or there are no differentiation?
Thinking of putting my child in NAFA, would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
