You seem to be convinced that NBG is corrupted even before the judge has finished hearing the case.

The only thing I have seen is that morality is in decay and no one seems to be faithful to their spouse anymore.

From the very start, I have my reservation on the case because I know how the government tender process works and NBG’s role in the process will be quite limited. From the trial, it seems to back my point that he merely say yes or no to the recommendation of the IT team and he did not influence the process. More importantly, the projects were already ongoing prior to his appointment and he even questioned whether the funds could have been better used else where.

Therefore, I find that his corruption intent is not really here.

The trial also exposed a more serious problem in my opinion. The investigative mindset of CPIB. Are they there to investigate a corruption case or to find means and ways to convict NBG. Look at the involvement of the Deputy Director in the case. Spending hours talking to CS? What is he trying to achieve here? Influence CS’ statement? Shocking, really shocking.

Yes, the latest development is indeed shocking - that CS can have ‘special treatment’ being escorted by so many body guards from CPIB when she attended courts; and the long, unaccounted for hours (as reported in papers) being interviewed at CPIB and the eventual change in her statements. And now NBG was alleged to have made sex videos??!!! Is this for real? Or someone is really trying to do him in?
