Feel this blog, \"In Defence of Vivian Lee\" worth reading.

      http://limpehft.blogspot.sg/2012/10/in-defence-of-vivian-lee.html

Further agreed that Vivian's parents have to shoulder some part of the blame for what their daughter did over the porn stunt.

It may not be good if your children always agree with what you say without 'challenging' as it is NATURAL for children to try to challenge most of the time and as long as the parents can hear them (in a polite way) and reason with them to convince them, they have a higher chance of staying close to the children at hearts.

So, parents, you may want to do a double take when you say that your child, esp teenager, is very 'guai' and always do what you say.

In one of Alvin Tan's interviews, the reporter asked him wouldn't his parents disappointed if he didnt complete his law degree? His reply was something like Law was not his interest and by making himself go through those two years were sufficient to 'pay back' his parents. This reply rings an old bell in me that reflects some children doing something just to please their parents but over the long run, they will revert back to their original interest or inclination.

I'm also in favour of using tax payers money on someone more deserving than him.....

if you nebbermind the leave may hv extra ingredients lah.. but if you wanna blow.. probably it wouldn't make much of a difference..

With the recent spate of scholars running afoul of the law, is it a reflection of the times? Was there an over reliance on academic excellence and other considerations were under weighted in the award of scholarships? :?

The boy's behaviour in this report is shameful. Imagine being in the wrong in the first place and threatening a woman with a baby. I hope his 'very important' parents are very proud of him.
