I think u will need more than 1 set of PE. This year, for my kids in p2, there are 3 days that they need to wear PE attire n 2 days school uniform. Not sure if there will be any changes though.

WOW!!! then I guess I will buy 2-2 each first… My frens said they spent abt $400 plus for buying the books n uniform in other schools…

Be prepared to spent about $500 like books, uniform & school bag. Still have not factor in the school transportation. :nunchuk:

I calculated..less the optional items from the booklist, it will need abt $100. (P1) Intend to get 2 sets uniforms and 3 sets of T-shirts/shorts, so that will be ard $100. School bag should be ard $100 (Ergo kind). 2 pairs of white shoes will be ard $50. Socks will be another $10..Stationeries etc...

Next year cost of school bus service will go up, $50 instead of usual $40 for us.

Am waiting for P5 booklist..He need a new sch bag cos the current one has to \"retire\" this year. School Tshirts and shorts...shoes, socks etc..
I tink need to put aside $1k for the 2s..

actually no need bcos my son nvr got to use them. I suggest waiting until the teacher ask for it before buying.

Thanks monmon31. How about those reference optional items like My Word Bank, My First Picture Dictionary, MPH Grammer Handbook & Workbook, Problem solving Beyond the Classroom, Topic by Topic Dictionary and My Grammer Handbook? Are all these also necessary?
