Hi. I’m trying to do a "proposal" for my "CFO". Any budget or reasonably priced accommodation to recommend for 2A 1 teenager and 1 child? Preferably no Airb&b because I’m afraid the guys might dirty the toilet. Please recommend locations to stay in too. Thank you.

By the way, the ones on CCA days are for all students. The ones during the school holidays, depending on the teachers, some made all students attended, some only allowed selected students. I guess depending on what you want to call it. The school just called these classes remedial classes.

I understand the new P has scrapped remedial classes for the P6s. How are the teachers going to finish the syllabus before prelim? Can any existing P6 parent shed some light? Thanks.

No, he didn't. In fact I find that he's better than the previous one. Heard that there were not much remedial classes for the past 2 years. There were 2 days of remedial classes in June and September. For term 4, CCA days for P6 were replaced with remedial lessons. 1 mum with child in P6 last year commented that there are more remedial compared to last year.

      MMM:
Interesting to chance upon this thread again as it reminded me of the US trip that we did in Dec 2014. From time to time, will look back at our photos in FB and think about what we did.

We used Alamo for car rental. Given that we've 5 person, we rented dodge caravan. Upon arrival, they convinced us into getting a fairly new Jeep Cherokee which came with free GPS in our case. As we were there for 2 weeks and safety is of utmost concern, went with the recommendation. We got those insurance where required as to me, peace of mind during travel is more important. No one wants to get involved in an accident. While we are careful, we cannot guarantee that the other road users will too. Car was superb and fuel consumption was really low. We only pump a few time despite that we drove from LA (Anaheim) - San Diego - Las Vegas (did Grand Canyon via a full day tour) - SFO - 17 miles drive - Santa monica - LA (Hollywood). The only issue we had was storage space.... It was our biggest concern all the time... In the end, we had to curb our shopping because there wasn't enough space in the car.

In LA, we spent initial 3 nights at Anaheim to cover Disneyland. During our trip, we stayed with those Hampton inn & suites (given that we have family of 5 and we wanted everyone in 1 room) and they have decent hot breakfast and decent size rooms. The girls look forward to making their own waffle every morning. For Hollywood, we stayed at Days Inn Hollywood Near Universal Studios. It was walking distance to Grauman Chinese theatre so near to food, shops, etc... Hotel is not new but still decent. Price is very reasonable as well. Breakfast is not great but there is always a choice of dining nearby. I think there was a in n out burger chain nearby.

I used tripadvisor for my hotel research and the choices came out really decent. I also used google map to plan our trip. It helped to estimate the distance and and timing. Another \"interesting\" thing we did was, we tend to take a driving break after 3 hours. We want to make a stop but unsure where to go, so we always search for macys or walmart.... So we ended up shopping all the time.
      Hi MMM

May I know how much do you spend in all for the whole trip for your airfare, accommodation, rental of car plus theme park tickets?

Any idea when the open house might be?

There's no open house at RMPS.

Hi, I'd like to ask a question...is M the best class and N the 2nd best class, or actually M class and N class are the same?

They are the same. If you have read the earlier post, one mummy said that her son scored 292 in P2 and is in 3N.

      Hi,

My daughter is currently in P1 and we were shock to find out there is no formal PTM in rmps. Her report book is still empty and with us since we got it from the bookshop. The form teacher has not collected. Really disappointing with the school's practice in this aspect. We have no formal feedback on how our kid is doing in school. Hope the new principal onboard next year will be better in this area.
There'll be a new principal next year??

      Hi Dino mummy

From what you have described, it seems that our children are in the same class.
