Then the parents were given a laptop to watch a video collage on what the kids have done in school. Followed by speech and drama performances put up by the kids. They were split up into groups to act out few different short stories. Then sang a couple of national songs. So I guess different ft has different practices.

Ok, so it's more like the FT instead of the school. Because some FT do talk to the parents during pct last week. So maybe you can \"make appointment\" with your girl's FT to talk to her if you have concern?

I believed all students should have receive the report book back. Any idea does your kid affected by the streaming?

They are the same. If you have read the earlier post, one mummy said that her son scored 292 in P2 and is in 3N.

Thanks for your reply, Brainiac, appreciate it:) So perhaps the school does not want to have a \"best of the best class\", placing unnecessary stress on the kids (and the parents)!

My daughter got 273 and is streamed into 3N next year. Anyone going to 3N or 3M next year? Would be happy to know the score too coz I don’t really know how well my daughter is performing with respect to the cohort. I only know she’s not the top 3 in her class.

Thinking of buying a chinese e-dictionary for my son. Is there any recommended model used by the School and usually will there be a roadshow by the vendors? Can advise? Thanks.

Creative will usually setup a roadshow at rmps at the beginning of the year.

U can find out the models approved for exams use in seab website.
Btw, the chinese teachers may ask the class to buy during p3. Prob to teach them how to use it. However take note that cannot be used during p3 and p4 chinese compo writing. Only starting using in exams in p5, p6 and psle.
