GEP 2012 - Screening & Selection
-
Our school received results yesterday, but only released this morning. Very slow hor. Both yellow and white envelopes given out.
My eyes popped when I saw my son holding a yellow one when I picked him up just now.
He told me when it was given to him, he was nonplussed because his FT told them in Mandarin itβs for "gao something". He thought it was for Higher Chinese!!! So he rolled his eyes lah since heβs quite lousy at CL. He just asked if he can drop it at P4, ha! -
yellow envelopes = get in gep? :rahrah:

Gep programme will be very different, GEPer are more prepared for IP and good in doing project works.

Thank you parents for your inputs- I understand where you are coming from...
Since GEP is about exposure and broadening perspectives, then if my gal can get the exposure through intermingling class in NYPS- then there is no need to be in GEP, that is my opinion...
As GEP seems very time consuming, to the extent of limited time to prepare for PSLE, and since PSLE is the key deciding factor to enter sec 1, then I feel I have to pace my gal to strive towards achievable goals, rather than over-stretch her...
Yes, it is ultimately her decision, and we have to support and be there for her throughout the journey...I fully agree too...
Do keep your views coming, I do appreciate it... -
Merely to check. Anyone know result is out from Nan Chiau Primary School? Teacher has not given out letters ( yellow envelope or white envelope) to the whole Class. The school is closed on yesterday. I assume no news mean the kid is not selected. Thanks! :scratchhead:

Is your school's office open? Call and check if they received? My friend called her FT directly cos her school was off for two days.
