fyi, kcpps did produce top scorer who obtained 281 in 2008, same as RGPS that year.

      mum2girls:
I agree with what Zeemimi comments on KCPPS. In fact, there are students graduated from KCPPS went to St Nic, RI, Catholic too. The school may not produced top scholar in Singapore that obtained 280 and above for the PSLE but that does not necessary mean that the school did not produce good students.

As for the bus arrangement. I personally do not think that by getting the staffs give up the parking lots will help to solve the problem. School staffs also play a very important role in the school, I don't think it is fair to them either. In the first place, why allocate a small holding school for KCPPS if the school premise cannot cater for that number of students? Hope the school will succeed in talking and working with the respective government agencies on the arrangement. School transport vendor should also help to find a better spot for students to alight. I think there is a side road with lower traffic near the school main entrance.

To conclude, my kids are happy in school most of the time and they like the teachers there though the teachers can be very strict to them. In terms of homework, sometimes my kids have lots of homeworks to do but so far they didn't complain about it. Stress level, still manageable as my kids do not have many enrichment classes and we do not give them extra works to do. So not stressful for the kids and ourselves even if they have many homeworks to do at times and not forgetting about their cca activities.

sji is going to use the bishan ite.

        all for kids:
Done a site reccee at holding site....it's going to be a real mess sending them or picking them from school! The drive in only permit one vehicle at a go. Right outside the gate is car park... Will be a horrible jam. Saw some alteration construction inside the school. Wonder what are they doing. This is certainly not idea. Why don't that combine 2 schools at Bishan ITE holding site? My primary school shared the premise at Bedok View Secondary School as its holding site then. I think all parents should write in to the MOE to re consider this. Why must action only be taken when something happen! If things can be prevented....

That was how many donkey years ago!!! πŸ˜‰ I remember that girl. She is in rgs now. But since then, nothing parallels or was even anywhere close to 281.

Let's take a look at this year's result. We may hv some surprises as there are a couple of really bright kids there this year.

ho ho. i called up the school y'day and was transferred to some1 else but waited a looooong time, no1 pick up. kena transferred back to reception who took down my number but no1 called back.

but thank God, managed to get the new owner to open the letter for me and got to know what I need to know before Sat.
I understand what you meant when u said no one call back coz I have quite similar experience. I have ever emailed to kcpps a few months ago to make an enquiry but have not receive any reply from them till now. 🀷 Hope the teachers there will be more responsive than the admin.

Glad that you finally got hold of the Orientation details. So which class is your child in?
