I just found out this info as below:

Dear Parents,

Bukit Panjang Primary School would like to thank you for your interest in our Parent Volunteer Programme.

With effect from 2013, our school will not be doing any recruitment of Parent Volunteers.

The non-recruitment of Parent Volunteers will affect parents whose children are born from 2 January 2008 onwards.

Thank You.

Hopes that more school will go for Parent Support Programme instead of Parent Volunteer Group. In this way, there will be more vacancies left in phase 2C.

I recently checked with Catholic High Primary (Bishan) and they said they are no longer accepting parent volunteers. If this is the case, then what are my options in order to get a chance for phase 2B ?

if it is true that Catholic High primary (Bishan) abolish Parent Volunteer programme, then the only route left is to ... join RC, in order to come under Phase 2B.

but you need to join RC a few years much earlier, because need time to be an Observer first. Otherwise, insufficient time left.

My son is born in 2008.

So he should be registering for P1 in June 2014 so as to be a P1 student starting in 2015.

So do I still stand a chance in registering my son under Phase 2B through the "RC" option?
