I see.. as far as I know, there are also mischievous/ bullies in the first class. Probably lesser than the last class. If you have the chance to see the classroom environment, you will know.
The moment, step into the first class and hand over worksheet, the whole class will at least maintain silence for about 20 mins and everyone does the work very efficient.
The moment, step into the middle to last class, hand over the worksheet. Hmm....can see the difference. Pity those serious students who are in these classes. Some really want to complete the worksheet but the environment prevented them from doing so. Kids walking around in the classroom, making fun of each other, wasting parents' money cut erasers to small pieces throw at classmates, buy stapler bullets and stapled on the erasers to play. etc.
Those kids who survive in these classes with good results will tend to be named as \"hao lian\".
so if the school stop streaming for P3 to P4, is it a good thing or not? especially so if the kids are above average.
for P4 to P5, they are still streaming them - fyi -
Ds' HCL teacher seems to b quite strict, will detain them from going recess/home on time if can't finish teaching/classwork. So I guess e kids have to cooperate w her? Hehehe..

Obviously the 'environment', in this case is the classroom, is failed in control by the teacher. No?octoberbaby:

Whether the teacher is able to control the environment, depends, even some parents allow their children to climb over their heads.
If teacher is good, will be posted to first class liao. There will be records such as PSLE results. Lets say 6A under this teacher can produce 30 students to score 260 above, definitely this teacher will be recommended for promotion. -
Hi, would like to ask if the shoes is black and velcro type, it is acceptable? Or it must be of the shoe laces type.

Velcro is ok though I personally go for shoe laces ones so that my son at least know how to tie shoe laces. Socks must be NC ones. -

The school is more flexible now. P1 & P2 is OK without shoe laces. During my older boy's time, shoe laces were compulsory, even for P1 & P2. -

Latest news, my girl today told me that this year P3 have no streaming. (e.g. P3 class 3A will be at P4 4A class)
My older boy is in P6 this year. Streaming is only in P2 & P4. Not every year. -

necessary that top classes
will get the best teachers. None of the HOD takes 6A this year. Chinese HOD teaches 6C, English HOD
teaches 6B, Science HOD teaches 6B & 6D & Math HOD teaches 6F. -
We attended the orientation exercise for our child last Monday. The staff was well organised and I was pleased with the way most teachers handled the children. The student ushers were particularly helpful, directing parents at the school main gate. I am feeling proud to be a parent of NCPs, though my journey has barely started. I hope I won't be disappointed in the months, and years to come.
