Let me try to put a face to this wise saying for additional impact...

                    Ran1977:

Share with us your diet plan 😂

Ok! Sure! No breakfast. No lunch. Plenty of water throughout the day... some black tea with no sugar and no milk.

For dinner, 6 heaped tablespoons of stir fried veggies (ranging from carrots to calabashes to broccoli ... mushrooms... anything I was able to buy) or salad (avocado, tomato...). 3 heaped table spoons of protein (fish, prawns, beef).

One cappuccino with 1 teaspoon of unrefined sugar. 1 fruit (mango, pear, apple).

Absolutely NO rice/spaghetti or bread... but I looooove bread. 😢

Can I suggest that you turn your eating timetable around. Have the rice and protein for breakfast instead of dinner, have a light lunch and just some fruits for dinner. Not eating anything in the day tells your brain that you are in starvation mode. That in turn kicks in it's survival mode and it will store calories. Which means, your body will store all the calories that you take in at dinner as it does not know when the next meal may come. Over time, your metabolic rate will slow and it will take a lot more to jump start that metabolic rate.

You may experience carbo withdrawal if you go off carbo or reduce it drastically. I am not big on carbo and when did away with what little I use to take, I actually had headaches, forgetfulness and crankiness. It took about a week or so before my body adjusted.
