You will be given a book list to order the books on day of orientation.
It's pacific bookstore. On the day you buy books or collect books (after paying online), you can also buy daughter's uniform.

The vendor for pinafore/white blouse is Madalene...different vendor for PE attire.

Hi dfstan, based on this year's P1 registration situation, it seems those staying more than 2 km have no chance at all. If I am not wrong, there was balloting for those staying between 1 km and 2 km in Phase 2B this year.

Hi mitr_sg, no after school care at CHIJ itself. I am placing my daughter at Pro-Teach which is located at Toa Payoh Central CC. Another student care in Toa Payoh area is Jessin which you may want to consider.

We have to be in school for the orientation at 5.30pm. The girls will be group accordingly to their class by the form teacher and they will have ice-breaking session. Parents will be briefed in the school hall. You did not received the orientation package via snail mail??

Do you think lunch time will be crowded? And by the way does anyone have any idea how much do they charge the school bus fees for within 1km, 2-way? and the cost of the uniforms? Just putting aside some budget...

so far, i had no problems buying her uniforms.
hubby yet to order the books despite my reminders. :rant:
however, i bought her PE attire as i was at chinatown last week.

Last year i was as anxious … my gal will be in P2 next year. Janet , your gal will be in P3 right. I was told by FT that next year there will be many formative tests…and a final exam in Term 4. Honey moon is over!

Hi Chen Tai Tai, yes, balloting was conducted. I know because I am in this group of 2C within 1 km!
