Anyone staying ard petir road and let their kids take school bus to beacon? Wanna find out roughly what time the sch bus pick the kids up ard petir area… Thanks!

Hi hi, I saw a few postings on the canteen coupons, but while I went to get the books on the day, I never saw any counter selling the coupons lei...hmmm....please advise...thanks! :scared:

Hi, It was sold during along with the books when my children started school, not sure if this has changed now.

Just to check is there anyway to arrange for schoolbus service for areas not catered by existing operators. The last time i check the school bus only go as far as Jurong East. Still staying in Jurong west till 2014.

Thanks Vivid! I just called the School & they said it will be briefed on the orientation day itself.

Hi parents, anyone knows how does beacon separate the students into different classes, ie from P2 to P3? What are the criterias?

:laugi was told by my girl's P3 teacher yesterday that there's no streaming for P1, 2 and 3. So they should be going to the same class next year. Like my boy from 1/6 to 2/6 and girl 3/2 to 4/2. But weird cos my girl was from 1/7 then 2/3 follows by 3/2 this year :roll:

Beacon follows mixed ability till P4. It's only in P5 that the children are streamed based on their P4 results. I think they just do it randomly. My children were in the same class in 1 & 2 and then changed classes in 3 and will go to the same class in 4. My son said his whole class except 3 children will be together next year.

Hi all Beacon parents,


After much up and downs, finally my son have transferred to Beacon for his Primary 1 next year. Beacon have always been the first choice school as I feel it matches my son interest and learning ablility. Furthermore it will be the closest school to my new home besides Greenridge. However due to unforseen turn of events I was not able to secure a place for my son.

I am very happy that he is able to start his p1 in Beacon Primary. See you all at the orientation tommorow.
