Anyone knows when will we receive the book list for P2? My friend's son in another school has already received his book list few days back.

Any of your girl will be attending the extra training for Gymnastic in CHIJ Toa Payoh during the holidays? The form my DD gave to me did not indicate the training is at the Pri or the Sec school.
And I can't see any contact number on the form as well.

The P2 book list should be given to your DD liao.
Now already school holiday. If your DD lost it you still can buy online in pacific bookstores http://www.pacificbookstores.com/. Just select the school name : PLMGS then P2 and ethnic group. Hope it help :xedfingers:

Optional items is not necessary. If you feel your DD need it then buy for her. She also can get it in school book shop if she really need.[/quote]

As I say optional items is not necessary, so far I don't buy any for my DD.
Even some of the compulsory items for her P1 was not use for teaching.
Hundred board, chinese wording card and music CD.

I like the way the report for P1 results was done. True to its word: holistic.


I mean, if a mark was given .... ok.... but I will go \"hmmmm.......\" Then I will really question how \"holistic\" is it when schools throw this word around. But I am happy to say that the school hasn't disappointed me in this area.

I know of parents in other schools who are quite upset that only a mark was given and not other details like position in the level. Sigh... I shook my head and asked this question \"What do you really want?\"

Now, I am looking forward to getting the book list and getting books for Pri 2.

Attended the P1 orientation today for DD2 and Mrs Ho held the session.


They have different CCAs for the P1 to pick now and Guzheng is no longer offered similar to Ballet.

They have added Prelude International Dance and Prelude String Ensemble instead. DD1 tagged along with me and managed to hug Mrs Ho before she left :love:

Dd's class held a mini farewell party for Mrs Ho on Monday. Can see that the girls really love her. What a great lady!

Hv u read the Nov Notification? I like how Mrs Ho refer to the school as the 'sheltering walls'.

Dd got her class allocation y'day. She is sad that one of her good friend will not be in the same class as her :sad:

Yup. White socks are acceptable.
Centralise the name tag just above the school badge.
Student care - no experience. Sorry.

Your DD can wear any white sock.
As for the name tag it is iron and stick onto the uniform.
There will be instruction given on how to do it together with the name tag you order.
