Hi,
I seem to be having problems loading the pacific book store website.
Is anyone facing the same problem?
Is it more advisable to go to the school bookshop to purchase the books than go online?
Would appreciate if someone can share their experiences and views:)

Hi Happymom2,
Just wondering if there are any parents who are using the before-and-after school care service (Good Shepherd Student Care) in the MCS compound? We are considering putting DD there when she starts P1 next year, and would really appreciate any feedback. TIA! :please:
My DD is currently with the Student Care Centre. Overall I'm pretty happy with them, most of the teachers are very kind & passionate. Feel free to pm me if you have any further enquries.pat_1ow:

Hi Patricia,
What I did last year was to order the book through website but self collect from school bookstore. It was much better as I was able to tally the items physically & rectify/clarify missing items with the in charge on the spot -
Hi everyone
My DD will be in P1-Respect, and in Garnet house

It is NOT a must to buy the black jacket. I would advise you to buy one for your girl if she is very sensitive to the cold.Linlin,

Hi!
Thanks very much for your feedback. We went to check out the student care centre today and spoke with one of the staff. Also had the chance to observe the girls, who seemed to be having fun. We were told that the staff will escort DD to and from CCA in school and also supervise her homework/revision. We quite liked the vibe (nice and homey environment), so we registered our DD since they had a vacancy.
Thanks again!

Hi,
As i am a student there ( Not going to be anymore), there IS a colour group for the P.E. shirts. You should know which \"House\" your child is in on the day of the orientation. From there you will know what colour P.E. shirt to purchase.
Regards,
Studious Alien

Oh yeah, no need buy jacket. Shoes? As long black, anything goes so far. Mary Janes or comfy chunky Bata, it's all good.
