      Hi HappyH.

      Try this.

      http://englishforeveryone.org/

It has a wide array of exercises at different levels. USA school levels and Singapore are the same P1 = G1, P6 = G6, and S1 = G7 and so on.[/quote]

Yes, it's a very good website... Thanks a lot.. I wonder whether anyone knows this kind of website that teach Chinese rules e.g. when making sentences, how to transform direct speech into indirect speech and how to use certain words ?

        Hi Village Girl,

I'm presently using Cloze Practice to revise with my daughter. Why don't you take a look at it ? It's published by Marshall Cavendish.

For grammar cloze, it can be improved because I see phrasal verbs can be memorized. No choice.

          Hi,

I need help and advice. Well, what I am looking for is not exactly an assessment book but more a reference book for EL open ended comprehension, preferrably one which teaches PSLE exam skills and techniques. Otherwise, I guess an assessments with lots of examples which teach dummy how PSLE comprehension questions should be answered will do too.

Anyone has come across such a reference?

          Millions of thanks in advance!

Thanks Janet, will have a look. I have bought Conquer Cloze for her and getting her to practise during this school holiday. Done a few exercises now but all did badly.

A friend recommended me Cloze Practice. I find it good as there is clear explanation before each exercise. But this assessment title doesn't have that component on synonyms. Just Education P4 has that section though.

I have problems with DS1 on comprehension cloze, but I do like what I see from thr picture of your book. I have a favour to ask, please? Will you post a further picture so that I can read the tips about the "comprehension cloze".
