Haha! You already know what you want to do. So no need to ask already. For us, we are really not interested in all these. We have a great zoo in Singapore and my kids are not into animals. And to me shopping in Australia is no big deal. Others may feel differently. DH and I actually find Australia prety boring. we are too jaded

how many times you have gone there?

Been to GC twice. 10 years apart but the shows an attractions remained unchanged. At movie world police academy show even the jokes were the same

Melbourne once - my favorite Australian city.

Sydney - 4 times. Leisure and business

Perth - once. That's enough. The guidebook says scenic route, we drove the whole way and didn't see anything even close to scenic. No where near NZ.

Wanted to go Tasmania, but but never did after what we saw of scenic in Perth, I'm still not convinced that it can be better then NZ.

Just being direct and truthful in giving my own views. That's what a forum is for right? This is not an advertising site what. I would have thought that it is better to get all views and make an informed decision. Or do we prefer to hear only want to hear only good things even if they are not really the truth? If only want to hear good things then should just read a travel agent's or attraction's own website.

I didn't tell you not to go. Just said the shows did not change in 10 yrs. if you never go before then it make no difference to you even if it had not changed in 20 yrs.

I did not tell you not to go, only said that shows in Movie world had not changed in 10 yrs. if you have not been there before, it would not make a difference to you even if it had not changed in 20 years. But that comment could be meaningful to someone who has been there previously and who may consider a second trip.

What I had said about shopping is frankly what I feel in all my various trips to diff Aussie cities. AUD is too strong. Australia is not a fashion capital of the world. No great Aussie fashion. Luxury goods are expensive due to the currency. Thus besides souvenirs and local produce, really had nothing to buy
