Wow, you created a new thread just for PSLE RESULT 2012.
Parents who do not mind sharing can post their children's results here...we would all like to share our happiness, if you do not mind.

Maybe to keep this thread tidy, you can indicate this way.

Just a suggestion. Maybe should put

Parent nick name ----- School ---- School top t-score ---- Child t-score (optional)

1)
2)
3)
every one can do their part by lessening the stress of psle by NOT naming any top student in this forum

It'd be really sad if parents or students really get stressed simply by knowing who the top student is. That would imply we are truly kiasu - \"scared to lose\" to others.

singapore parents are kiasu
the complaints have always been how stressful the psle is..
and finally, the MOE is doing its part
parents here should do the same too
of cos there are those who wish to post the top students results here
but others can choose not to do so
PSLE is already over, what is there to stress about. So what, if no one post the name of the top scorers. We know that it will be in the range of 28+. Chinese has a saying \"you will be worse than those who are above you but better than those who are below you\".

Most of us are in the average. 80/20 rule still apply. Anyway, all of us know where our kids stand There are not many scholars around. We are not scholars too. We have to manage our our expectation, just be more realistic.

Well said, mummy so kiasu. Its a good reminder to know that most of us are average and to set realistic expectation for our kids whom we know so well. It's definitely a worthy time of celebration today, whatever the results. 🙂

I think leave out the name of the school and top t score.

We as parents just have to realistic...then we will not be stressed. Only we as parents will know where our kids stand...btw, PSLE today is unlike our time. So we have to understand what our kids have gone through.
Parents are stressed if they have an expectation of 260 and above.

Children can be average only by the PSLE yardstick at age 12. Parents must not make them feel and treat them like average for life. Love them, support them and nurture them. They are our gems when they were born, they are still our gems. Do not let a digit diminish our quality relationship with our children.

Cheers
