MOE to stop publishing names of top students?

We will be more careful for the next GE. PSLE is the first step in which sch the kids will be posted to. These kids are being monitored in terms of academic and other performance.
Everywhere is the same right. Even in working life, there are appraisals whether the company has to keep or kick an employee.
Recruits in army also being monitored who will eventually be the Best Recruit and posted to an Elite force. -

Somebody else mentioned that this is but a sacrificial lamb for other things possibly lined up. Sacrificial lambs are the tools of the lily-livered. And the lily-livered do not produce champions. -
Just a thought after seeing the results…
It’s an encouraging sign that some of the neighbourhood schools are doing so well…
Maybe MOE can consider listing the top 10 scores and the corresponding schools with students obtaining such scores.
There should not be a need to reveal the number of students from each school as the aim is to give recognition to the lesser known schools and raise their profiles.
In time to come, maybe the mindset that "all schools are good schools" will become more of a reality… -

Whether the score is higher or lower than any year is meaningless comparison as each cohort is different and exams papers are diff. The score is purely for ranking within the cohort ONLY.
