firstcrunch:
i had helped you pose yr concern to timtim (Senior management in Grassroute activities)Thank you phtthp.
My son is born in 2008.
So he should be registering for P1 in June 2014 so as to be a P1 student starting in 2015.
So do I still stand a chance in registering my son under Phase 2B through the \"RC\" option?
Your advice is very much appreciated.

Your child will be P1 in 2014 or 2015? If it's 2015, didn't know the school would take in PVs so early... -
My son will be P1 in 2014.

a lot of parents do volunteering work for the desired school that they want to enrol their child in. is this really a way to have a better chance of securing a seat for my child? heard that this volunteering-work system will be strike off soon, anybody heard of it?
-
yes some primary schools eg BPPS are doing away with PV for 2014โs P1 but not all following the same. MOE so far never mention of striking off PV. Which primary school are you looking at? it is best you call the school and find out.
