Hi, anyone knows the cut off marks for EESIS award for this year? It is usually given to the top 3% and think last year is 260.

        Hi everyone,

I thought my tears have dried by now…but reading all your posts made me cry again, bcos I can sense your sincerity.
It is so hard to take…but I never blamed my son one single bit.
He has worked very very hard.
        Thank you.

          Hi,

I need some advice. DS got 250+1.
Would this be enough for an IP programme? Any school to recommend?

It seems 250+1 is good enough for many good schools e.g. SJI, VS, CHS, ACS(I) under the O-level track, but falls short of the cut-off point for IP programme A-Level track. So near, yet so far........

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

          From a concerned dad.

I just started a new thread on this here - http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=45998

If parents could help fill in the scores we will be able to find out the EESIS COP this year.

Yes, jtoh. RI has been his dream school (as well as mine). He was expecting a better result but to get 263 is already a good one. Thank you for your view! We will want to give RI a shot too! Just wasn't sure if it is safer than just going for Hwa Chong as 1st choice.

Hi, since it is your DS's dream school. Just go for it. :rahrah: And he could appeal and stand a chance since it is the first choice. HCI should be a safe second choice judging from past years COP. And dun forget there are more IP choices this year so the COP might not increase so much.

Guys, I am extremely disappointed with my daughter's results. She only got 272 marks this year! I heard that a large number of people got 280 and above. I am so sad right now. What can you do with 272? Sigh. I'm not trying to make other people with terrible scores like say, 260 feel sad, but this is really annoying. Especially since the average score in singapore is like what, 275? Sigh.

                Is this a *TROLL*???

My son didn't do very well...we were caught off guard.

He has 203. Need time to get over it.
Seriously I don't know what happened, but can't ask him.
In PH Yearbook 2011/2012, there's this section by ex-students. One of them went from PH to Commonwealth Sec. Hardly a crime-da-le-creme sch in the league of RI/HCI rite? Well guess what, this ex-student eventually graduated from law faculty in NUS.

So buy the yearbook, cut out that section and pin it in your son's room for motivation.

Though how we start the race is impt, how we end it is even more so. I do not want to tell you to take it easy, bcos for kancheong parents like us, it's never easy. But I do like to suggest that you look back and see what could be done differently from the past, and improve on it. You know your situation best. Good luck.

Yes. And not even a funny troll. Mean-spirited troll, if you see what else it's posted.

Don't worry I got 272 only.. so sad...

So what you got 272, in my eyes you are a ZERO in humbelness, and graciousness.
I saw yr another post in PSLE posting results, of how sad you feel abt yr score.
Stop being a Hippocrates.[/quote]I am even ashamed that you, who got 272, posted like these. Maybe you should go back to primary school for re-education on social grace.
