The theoretical reason is that if we multiply a product a(b) by two, we are actually having two copies of a(b).

Hence, 2 x a(b)= 2 times of a(b) = 2a(b) = a(2b)

For a concrete example, think about what would happen if we multiply 1(1)(1)(1)(1) by 2.

1(1)(1)(1)(1) is just 1, hence the answer should be 1(1)(1)(1)(2)=2, and not 2(2)(2)(2)(2) which is 32.

A ball is thrown from the top of a building. Its vertical height H (in metres) above the ground at time T seconds during the flight is given by the formula,

H=90+15t-5t squared ( the t is squared)

a) Find the height of the building.
b) Factorize H=90+15t-5t squared
c) Hence find the time of the flight of the ball.
d)Find the value of t when the ball is again at the same level as the top of the building.

I’m having problems with c and d. I would really appreciate if someone could help. Thank you!

Well, if you feel so. But the way I interpret it, he always a wanted to become a death eater, didn't he? All the better for him when Voldemort said he had to do it as his parents couldn't object. Even at the end, when Harry and co. were at the room of requirement, Draco tried to hurt Harry. Without orders. Willingly. But J.K Rowling left a lot of things open to interpretation, so again, to each his own.
