Cedar cut-off for IP is 258. Do you think there is a chance for my daughter to get in.

u r quite a few points below the cutoff, so might be very slim chance, to be honest.

Are you sure Cedar cut off is 258?

There are quite a few new IP / IB girls' sch this year, so the COP for IB / IP schs might be lower. You may want to consider and try St Nicks, MGS, SCGS. Cedar is high last year as there are not that many choices then. Alternatively, you can also opt for RVHS / DHS if you do not mind mixed sch. I do not know where you are staying, so distance may be something you want to consider when choosing the sch.

        Hope this helps.

Yah lah, with so many top scorers, that's why MOE does not want to publish anymore. Next year PSLE will be more tough, to identify the elite among the elites of the elites.

I agree with you .hope that if less top scorers ,they will post the top scores out so that we no need guess here guess their liao

Will we get a higher chance to enter the preffered school if we summit earlier?

perhaps because this year happen to be PSLE year for Dragon / Phoenix born in 2000.
Too many powerful Dragon & Phoneix -
hence few tie with top scorers.

My son didn't do very well...we were caught off guard.

He has 203. Need time to get over it.
Seriously I don't know what happened, but can't ask him.

Don't worry I got 272 only.. so sad...

Actually with your 272, your IQ is already high up there. It's your EQ that requires lots of work.......and take note, that's what gonna serve you well for the rest of your life!

Hope you learn your lesson well.

                        Hi everyone,

I thought my tears have dried by now...but reading all your posts made me cry again, bcos I can sense your sincerity.
It is so hard to take...but I never blamed my son one single bit.
He has worked very very hard.
                        Thank you.
                        Janet,
I hope you have had time to get over the shock of the results and you have braced yourself to help your DS find a suitable school. Take care!
