SJI will be my choice for my DS if he meets the cut off point for SJI. My DS also in an affiliated pri school. Regardless of distance, we will go for SJI. I know of someone whose son will be going to SJI in 2013 and they stay in the west. One of my relative’s son who finished his o levels already even said he will send his future son there …I hv also met some of the fathers of my DS’s friends who are old boys and they maintained strong ties with the school and their friends…DH said its something I will not understand (cos I am from SAP school) and he called it "brotherhood"…

which part of jurong ? perhaps try the mrt to buona vista, then change to circle line to botanic gardens followed lastly by a short bus ride (151, 153, 154, 156, 186) of a few bus stops to the raffles town club bus stop

Another option : Bus 105 from JURONG EAST TEMP INT and alight at WHITLEY RD RAFFLES TOWN CLUB, and then walk to the school. Total travelling time about 64min, according to SBS Transit iris system.

Is your house near Bukit Panjang? There is a bus 700 from Bukit Panjang Int to Whitley Road, just after Tanglin CC. This bus, after passing Dairy Farm Road, will be travelling on the expressway. The first bus stop after the expressway will be the bus stop just after Tanglin CC. From the bus stop, you can walk to SJI.

Other possibility is bus 154, but if from Jurong East then maybe MRT to Buona Vista then change to Botanic Gardens then change to a short bus ride might be quite fast too ...
