Sorry if I am digressing, but since cleanliness is also an issue and many of you have young kids .....

      Just out of curiosity ...

      Do you:

      1. carry dettol wet wipes when out with kids and if you go to a restaurant/hawker centre and if the seats are dirty, wipe them?? I get really annoyed when the high chair is really dirty. You will be surprised to find that even some good resaturants don't maintain cleanliness of their high chairs. I give up asking them to clean it cuz don't know if the cloth they are using is clean. So I use dettol wet wipes.

      2. wash your hands and feet aft going out, even if its out to the provision shop nearby

      3. change into your 'home clothes' immediately after returning home before sitting down on the sofa, chair, lying on the bed etc...?? DH is quite anal abt this. So whenever aft guests leave, the sofa would be wiped throughly ...

      4. wipe the interior of the car eg steering wheel aft going to the mkt or doc??

šŸ˜„ šŸ˜„ šŸ˜„ Got a lot more lah, but no time to type all, gotta go cook.

That said, aft having a child though, we too have loosen up ... but just a tiny weeny bit šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

ANS: Yes.. buds and I do bring along dettol wipes to wipe tables and seats of hawker centres, fast food restaurants & even some restaurants.
          2. wash your hands and feet aft going out, even if its out to the provision shop nearby.
ANS; Yes, most definately. Both DD1 & DD2 knows that they have to head straight to the toilet to wash up once they return home from anywhere.. cannot take any chances.
          3. change into your 'home clothes' immediately after returning home before sitting down on the sofa, chair, lying on the bed etc...?? DH used is quite anal abt this. So whenever aft guests leave, the sofa would be wiped throughly ...

ANS: Yup.... its a good idea to do so isnt it??
My answers are in bold..now go & start cooking.. & dont forget to wash your hands..

buds hubs seems to be suffering from ocd. šŸ˜›

we're only that concerned during the sars outbreak n initial days of h1n1. nowadays, we dont bother. but, when we come home, we change to home clothes, more for comfort than to rid of germs.

not criticising anyone here, but perhaps we're more lax coz we dont have young kids around.

Folks, \"relak\" a little ... A little dirt and untidiness won't hurt lah. In fact, thought i saw somewhere something about that it's not good for kids to grow up in too clean an environment 'cos then immune level will be low. Sounds a little extreme but perhaps some \"truth\" to it like s'poreans always seem to get tummy upset whenever eating roadside stalls overseas? PS: not that i dare to eat as well

Ans: Yes, most definitely also and using soap is a must and also counting to 20 times long enough at least for the soap to \"kill\" the germs. Old folks at home have medical problem so do not want to pass virus to them too.

Ans: Only wipe when it feels dirty and smelly. Otherwise ..no need cos we wash hands when we reach home. And put emphasis not to touch face/mouth while outside..

Yes plus DETTOL sanitiser. Not excessively paranoid, only visible dirt then I clean

                      2. wash your hands and feet aft going out, even if its out to the provision shop nearby

Yes and no. Usually bathe after getting home but not for short trips like provision shop trip

No, changing to home clothes is more for comfort. But I am more particular about wearing outing clothes to bed.

Wipe the steering wheels as and when I feel the need to. šŸ‘… As for the car interior, have totally relaxed about it eversince it has a baby travelling in it..... life is never the same again.. šŸ˜‰
