May I know whether it’s a must to label uniform?

@ zac’s mum: oh so your boy’s going for N1? Mine is going for K1. I saw a lot of white uniform shoes in department stores such as Taka, OG, etc. Prices are almost the same as Bata’s. About 20 bucks for one pair.

Not sure the shoes must be totally white or can have colored stripe/patterns? Any mommy can advise on this? Thank you!

Oic...so your boy will be in K1. Is he currently attending any childcare centre? They dun use white shoes now?

Thx, I will try your recommended places. Kiddy Palace has limited choices, I think maybe 3 designs under Barney brand. But the smallest size (15?) is still way too big for my boy :(((

And ya labeling the uniform is only compulsory for N1 cos we need to pack an extra set in their bag in case got \"diaper accidents\"

          Dear All,

My son is starting in BRMCK this coming new year. I would like to find out from fellow mummies here more info on March school holiday (we are planning to take him overseas and need to apply leave early).
BRMCK 1st term starts on 7 Jan, primary schools start on 2 Jan. Does that mean BRMCK March holiday will start later than primary schools (16 March)?

          Many thanks in advance!

Late start only for first term only. March school holiday will follow the normal calendar. My elder kid just graduated from the school and the younger one attending n2 am next year too.

Hi, does anyone know when the registration for the 2014 intake begins next year? I’m guessing it would be April 2014 but I’m not sure of the date.

              Thanks!

Hi Edward, any idea when we can go visit the school and talk to the principal? You said you just came back from the school meaning you went to visit ?

                    Hi spe,

Yes I went to visit. I went to the school last week Friday. I called ahead to set up a time to go there. You can try to do the same.

Those of you who have kids who are/were attending nursery and kindergarten here, how is the feedback system like? Do the teachers write reports on your child’s progress or do you have to call in and ask? My child is in N2 and he doesn’t normally tell me how his day went. Either he doesn’t remember or he didn’t achieve much. I have called the school and only 50% of the time does his form teacher call me back. I wonder if no feedback is the norm in his school. Other schools he has been to volunteer the info right after the lesson. Thanks.
