i only know report to new school on 20/12.
before new school term starts...get uniforms and books that day.
one stress after another.

Hi My dd got 254 PSLE Result and considering appeal to NJC as NJC is her first choice.

Can anyone advise if you have any experience to appeal NJC ?
any comment would be welcome.

Is there a COP limit for appeal? If so, can anyone tell what will be the max difference to go for appeal? I heard we can appeal till 5 marks diff? am I right?

The lesser the difference the higher the chance. There is no guide as to COP limit for appeal. Some schools are quite yah, yah and will tell you off though.

My DD did not get through the DSA of the top 2 sec schools, instead, she got offer from a lower ranking one and we decided to accept it. Now, PSLE results are known. My DD got 268+2. What nice if had not accepted the offer of DSA. Is there any chance to get rid of the current school and appeal back to the top twos? Thanks for help for those "happy" but "regretful" parents.

From what i have heard or seen.....most schools do release the results of appeal before the school term starts....
Usually last few days before Dec ends...
But there are cases ( where i read fr parents' feedback here) that the appealed sch/s
only will let them know the outcome during the 1st wk of the new term....
What i would suggest is that if u have decided to make an appeal,
dont buy the books first when u report to the posted sch in Dec.

Oh…btw, some IP schs dont commence the new term on the 1 st week of Jan…

I think it is ok to buy books and uniform first if you do not hear from appeal school by end Dec 12. Can always donate it to the school to help students in need if you are successful in appeal later. Do a good deed after a successful appeal sounds right!

I heard and saw lots of people putting 1st and 2nd choices cops >5 from their own aggs. If that's the case, there ll be MANY appeal cases on the day of posting. Wondering what will the chances be? Those in charge of looking into the appeal cases will be super busy, and if we go to them, maybe they ll start to :stompfeet: and snap at us.

Or is it that every year it's like that? I 'll be one of the appeal candidates too.
