my son actually scores 204. difficult choice to make for the limited 'good' schools in the west area. I am actually zooming in the few schools below. anybody can advise which school is better?

      Boon Lay
      Bukit View
      Hillgrove
      Hong Kah
      Jurong West
      Juying
      New Town
      Shuqun
      Westwood
Wow. I highly suggest looking at distance! 🙂
CCA is compulsory and usually end up to 630pm!
      Hope this helps.

Regent didn't start off with a good reputation and with low COP. I didn't actually witness it but I heard ppl talking abt students behaving like gangsters etc. That was several years ago. Things seem to have changed in recent years.

I overheard one of my kid's primary school teacher talking to a parent. She has a girl in Regent (don't know what year). At first the parent said Regent not so good but the teacher said she is actually quite impressed with the school now. Apparently the school has improved since a new principal took over. She said that the principal makes it a point to get to know the students and to talk to them. And her girl is doing well there too (maybe the 'big fish in small pond' thing).

Guess it is hard to reverse ppl's view of the school so quickly.

My girl already said if her results are poor, she'd rather go to BPGH to do N(A).
        Yes indeed!
I have met pupils who are full of praises of Regent too recently.
A big change I must say. Very.
Seems like they are very much into character development now.

hey, come to hillgrove if your child is interested in aviation as it is the school's niche area. You can also see what the performing arts in my school are doing with the videos filmed by my cca. http://www.youtube.com/hgvinfocomm 🙂

I walked before. It is 20min walk. You can take bus 941 and alight outside princess Elizabeth primary.
Need to cut through car park and hdb. Unless walking in groupms, ,,I feel may be unsafe for girls if early morning walk. Jmho
