the easiest way to convince yourself to believe is you go work in the bus company, either SMRT or SBS Transit
If they offer me the post of CEO, I WILL gladly accept.

As the CEO, I will then be provided with all necessary information and be in the position to carry out changes.

SBSTransit operates Buses and trains… SMRT operate trains and buses…

SBStransit doesn’t seems to have so much issues… Why SMRT got so many problems with train service, buses service… etc… comparing the transport operators… apparently… their top management got problem. Their previous CEO really one kind…
Zero tolerance for bus drivers' illegal strike: Govt
SMRT lodges police report, Manpower Ministry will look into drivers' complaints
\"zero tolerance\" seems to be a catch phrase recently?
And still took 2 days for actions?
We have zero tolerance for many other things...
About time for our MATA to show some power.

either too many portfolios and need to outsource...or else top management incompetent. to think that there is a strike happening here...this issue has to be settled and mete out necessary punishment to prevent another case like this from happening again.
well its either wages go up and fares go up

or wages go up and fares stay the same and management gets a pay cut/ pay stagnate

but we're living in the real world

so it's wages go up and fares go up

Advertisements on buses goes to who har? Under a separate entity for profit is it? If the heart is set out to keep fares from rising, I do not believe there can be no other way than to cut wages.

the easiest way to convince yourself to believe is you go work in the bus company, either SMRT or SBS Transit
You make it sound like you work in one of these firms. Maybe you can educate us better and clear my doubts - \"Advertisements on buses goes to who har? Under a separate entity for profit is it?\"

if SMRT is not sacking them, in my opinion, the mastermind of this strike must be punished more heavily.

My personal opinion is that SMRT shouldn’t increase the china worker salary request. If they comprehend to their request, it is like indirectly sending a wrong message that they are encouraging their staff to go for STRIKE if they are unhappy with anything. Mean only STRIKE can get what they want.

To me, the worker who lead the strike, has to be punished heavily and the rest must also have some form of punishment. To me this is unacceptable.

In future there will be Malaysian on strike. Singaporean on strike. 😛 Never ending!!! No one will be satisfy with their salary and bonuses.

I have a friend who get 4 months bonuses every year, he still feel his bonus is very little. 😛
