For Sec 1 next year, can we go earlier to buy the books at NYGH or they will not entertain us? Worried about the crowd on 20/12.
I know we can get the text at Popular but still need stuff from school bookshop.

Can call up the bookshop and ask whether can get books earlier. From what I remembered it was rather organised getting the textbooks and uniform on the day itself.

I know this is kinda late, but hope someone could shed some light:

1) Is it true that life at nygh is very busy and it’s not advisable to take up third language eg. Jap or German?

2) Does the third language replace any of the subjects if you decide to take it up?

I read in some other thread in KSP Forum that students get 2 points less if their O-level exam they get A1-C6 for Cat 1 and 2's 3rd Language. No mention about Cat 3. My DD applied for Cat 3's 3rd Language and my opinion is just try out and see how the work load in NYGH. By the end of Year 1, the child would have learnt basic convervation for another language.

Well, my dd has been successfully admitted to NYGH thru dsa. However, mommy is seeing her fretting over her jc choice. She keeps telling me to check if it is possible for her to transfer to RJC after completing her 4 yrs of education at NYGH without taking the o-levels. Is it possible? Hoping for a reply.
