Many thanks for your good information.

We have tried to call BPGHS office for more info but not avail. And was directed to an answering voice message informed that it’s closed on weekend.

No problem and we have visited Kranji open house today and will join the BPGHS guided tour for the school on 26/27-Nov.

      :salute:

        Hi Crester,

pls share more abt the current P. where’s fr and how long she’s been in BPHS.

We have chosen this sch, so any input on the teachers, curriculum, would greatly appreciate.

BPGHS performs relatively well in one corner of the western zone of Singapore. Its one of the top 5 in Singapore for the NA streams. The teaching and approach are quite well structured. One classic example is the ground work and preparation of students for the 'O' Level as early as in the first quarter of the fiscal year.

Hi, how did BPGHS do for Os? How many students with L1R5 6, how many with L1R5 7? Need to find out my chances for appealing. Thank you.

Does anyone have any lobang to the tickets application for NDP 2013?

I have missed the deadline for one day.

Trying hard to be included for tickets balloting exercise.

Was the NDP every year so early close application?

This is my first year trying but still missed it...gosh...and my child is performing...If any parents have lobang of the tickets , do email me at [email protected].

I just need 2 tickets for the actual NDP.

Can someone also advise me how to post new topics for help in this forum?

Hi, would like to know how the Express stream students r grouped into classes, random or PSLE results or need to sit for tests?

                    How much time is recess?

R all Express stream students given equal opportunities at programmes outside lessons?

                    Many thanks in advance.

Hello… It seems this forum is not very active as nobody answer the last question from the parent. But I would like to raise my questions as my DD was posted to BPGH for her Sec 1 next year.

Can any parents/ students from BPGH share :
                      1) The School time and recess time ?
                      2) How much per meal will cost ? example one plate of rice. I need to have an idea how much should I give for her pocket money. Is the canteen stall selling good food ?
                      3) usually when is the CCA time ?
                      4) Which CCA is strong in BPGH ? Art / Uniform / etc…
                      5) do they need to stay back everyday ?

Any other comment about this school is welcome to share. Thanks a lot !

                        1) Please refer to website: http://www.bpghs.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=1182223 for more info.
                        2) A plate of dish usually cost around S$2. The canteen food is okay, but if it doesn't suit your dd's taste, there's a cafe in the school.
                        3) Please refer to website: http://www.bpghs.moe.edu.sg/wbn/slot/u3013/Announcements/CCA_schedule_2013_ver_2.pdf for more info.
                        4) Sports, eg: Volleyball, netball
                        5) (Depends on your dd's schedule)

Bpghs offers AEP(art elective programme). So if your dd is interested in Art, she can try to enroll AEP (there's an audition). Please refer to: http://www.bpghs.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=1166153 for more info.

P.S. Their Physics paper is extremely difficult, my dd is sec 1 this year and many has done badly... :stupid:
But the Physics 'O' level results are better than other schools.
