All About Handwriting

My ds writes in cursive and when the letters are unjointed, they are with all the flicks and tails. Is this acceptable in spore ? He'll be in primary 1 in 2014.
My DD who will be in P1 in 2014 is showing interest in cursive method.

My ds was taught cursive at school (currently we’re overseas), he doesn’t write regular straight letters. I wonder moe deem it acceptable? Cos it’s really hard to get him to write in 2 different styles. At his best, at the letters as flicks. I’m at lost what to do… -
My eldest started to show interest in cursive handwriting around end P3 and by P4 her penmanship was all cursive. I only ensured that it MUST be legible. If her cursive handwriting slowly geared towards lazy and/or illegible, I told her I'd rather she write straight up like she used to. It should never be an excuse for her to lose marks because she couldn't decipher her own writing. :rant: Yes, her lazy cursive occasions have landed her in getting unnecessary mistakes in her work. Her written work were all accepted whether it was cursive or not by that time (P3/P4).
My thoughts are, as long as the cursive is neat and legible... it should not pose as a problem for it to be allowed and accepted.

Early Learning Centre @ United Square used to sell colourful cute animals pencil grips. . Not sure still have stock or not. -
